We are living in unique times where our top priority is to keep our families safe and healthy. But it is also important to keep our children learning and on track to reach their educational goals. To help, A Grade Ahead of Avon has adapted our program while our classrooms are closed. Here’s how we are using our curriculum and technology to stay connected.
A Grade Ahead’s proprietary curriculum booklets with lessons, worksheets, and answers are mailed directly to our students’ homes.
Each week, our students watch a video to learn the lesson of the week from an educated teacher. Then they watch another video that helps walk students through how to complete the homework for the week.
After students have time to work on their weekly worksheets, they have the option to log in to an interactive session with a live teacher and several other students to ask questions and get help with anything they don’t understand.
Our teachers have made weekly lesson videos and homework help videos for every grade from pre-kindergarten through high school!
Students have the option to log in to a weekly session with a teacher to ask questions and work through homework problems with their peers.
A Grade Ahead of Avon looks forward to opening our classrooms just as soon as it is safe. In the meantime, we are excited about our temporary approach to keep our kids learning during this uncertain time.
